What We Do Best

LED (Light Emitting Diodes) is the latest technology used in lighting and screen technology. They emit light rather than reflect it and are therefore many times brighter than other available options, such as plasma and LCD screens. This makes LED the only technology suitable for applications requiring a screen which is fully weatherproof (IP65) and able to be viewed in direct sunlight..

Screen Installations

Eyecom can install screens of any shape and size at any location. As we are a design and build company, with our In-house fabrication team any design can be realised, whilst maintaining a high level of quality workmanship.

If you don’t already have the screen Eyecom can supply the right screen and control equipment that meets your requirements and fits your budget.

The Eyecom installation team have experience working at heights, rigging, electronics, project management and video processing.

Before we leave you to enjoy our installation, Eyecom offer training on all related technical components, handover a working manual and all related certificates. A typical installation takes between 3 to 7 days on site, excluding foundation installation.

Custom Creations

We understand LED – how it is best deployed, the correct type of screen for different locations, how to create and deliver captivating content and how to obtain the maximum value from it.

Eyecom supply the latest in digital LED strip technology to create any shape of screen you can imagine. The Eyeblade can be installed permanently or rented for visual fx. We also build customised Gig rigs , inclusive of Video, Audio, generators, stage , hydrolic systems, control room, and guest facilities.

Maintenance & Servicing

While modern LED screens are increasingly more resilient and durable, they still benefit from basic care and maintenance to keep them looking their best and to ensure maximum operating lifetime.

We look after your installation by regular servicing and continual monitoring, which will help to minimise failure rates and provide early diagnosis of any potential issues.

Eyecom operate an in-house service department to keep your installation in full working order throughout its lifetime. Repairs and replacements of components from modular to PCB level.

Eyecom are defined by where they have come from and the real experience gathered during the journey. Our founders have lived and breathed the LED industry for over a decade, working on the world’s largest events and projects for some of the largest companies, spanning Europe, the UK and for the last 7 years here in South Africa. Eyecom’s core objective is to turn our client’s vision into a reality.

Paul Bowling- Director

Paul Bowling’s career in LED started in 2000 in the UK when he was asked to design and build a 24sqm mobile LED display for Rodger Sanderford the creator of Tiny computers. Paul quickly progressed and in 2004 with Big TV he assisted in developing their mobile LED stage and screen combo. Numerous events were successfully carried out throughout Europe including Audi’s 2006 world Cup Fan zone in Germany, whereat Paul helped supply full technical backup.

He was then contacted by Royal Phillips Electronics to plan and install six 44sqm LED screens and structures throughout the UK. At the time this was the largest rollout of Public viewing screens in the UK. He was brought to SA in 2007 by Gearhouse SA where he was head of AV. Paul left Gearhouse to design and build mobile screens from scratch for PLED but ultimately decided in 2010 to go out on his own and started Eyecom.

The business has grown from strength to strength including 2 installations in the Northern Cape, Building a mobile screen for SaldanhaBay Municipality, and Custom create an LED display for Era Nightclub.

Eyecom have also just completed one of the largest LED installations in Africa on the Media 24 building in Cape town.
